Hotel O 武吉丁宜靠近巴東魯亞爾（原New Aedo） (Hotel O Bukittinggi near Jam Gadang formerly New Aedo)

I’m truly sorry to say this, but my stay at this property was the most disappointing experience I have ever had. The listing clearly advertised the location as being “near Jam Gadang,” but this information is misleading. In reality, it takes around 15 minutes to reach Jam Gadang, and the hotel is located far from the main town area. This was already a big letdown, especially for travelers who rely on accurate information when choosing accommodation. The condition of the rooms was even more shocking. The rooms were extremely dirty and poorly maintained. I was traveling with my family and had booked four rooms, expecting at least basic comfort. However, within less than one hour of checking in, every one of us agreed that we could not stay there any longer. We immediately packed our belongings and checked out. There were almost no essential amenities provided. There were no proper plug sockets, no makeup mirror, and surprisingly, not even a single air conditioner in any of the rooms. For a hotel that claims to offer a comfortable stay, the lack of these basic facilities is unacceptable. The state of the bathrooms was the worst part of all. They were very dirty, unhygienic, and completely unacceptable for guests. No family—especially those traveling with children—should have to use facilities in such condition. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience for my entire family. We only stayed for about one hour before deciding to leave the property altogether. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves both the cleanliness and the accuracy of their listings so that future guests do not face the same disappointment.
